The CDM Advisor's Role

The successful CDM Advisor will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with CDM regulations across a variety of projects. The CDM Advisor will be responsible for providing comprehensive health and safety advice, managing design risk, and fulfilling the role of Principal Designer.

Responsibilities

  • Advising clients on their duties under the CDM 2015 regulations.
  • Managing the design risk management process.
  • Reviewing and approving construction phase plans.
  • Preparing pre-construction information packs.
  • Conducting site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Delivering CDM and health and safety training to clients and project teams.

The Successful CDM Advisor Will Have

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a CDM or health and safety advisory role.
  • Strong understanding of the CDM 2015 regulations.
  • Construction or design background preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively as part of a team.
