A very successful firm of Chartered Surveyors based in the City of London have the need for a residential Property Manager.

THE ROLE

This Property Manager vacancy will see the successful candidate join a small office and hold full responsibility for a portfolio of 65 residential properties. These are mainly situated in Chelsea and Notting Hill, but a handful are situated in Essex.

Main duties:

  • Tenancy renewals/extensions.
  • Change of tenancy administration.
  • Deposit administration including transfers & allocations.
  • Tenant referencing.
  • Check-ins / check-outs.
  • Maintenance queries.
  • Undertake regular property inspections.
  • Regular liaison with landlords & tenants.
  • Management of contractors and small contract work projects.
  • Maintaining the database
  • Management of keys.
  • Ensure rents are received on-time and chase any overdue payments.
  • Service charge budgeting and preparation which can be taught to upskill

THE CANDIDATE

  • Has previous experience of working within a full 360° Property Management position.
  • Possesses common sense and a mature & responsible attitude.
  • Has exceptional communication, organisational and planning skills.
  • Can liaise with tenants, landlords and contractors in a sympathetic but firm manner.
  • Has basic IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office.

OTHER

  • This is a permanent position based in the City of London.
  • The hours of work are 9am-6pm Monday to Friday
  • This position pays a basic salary of between £28k-£34k.
  • The properties are within easy reach via public transport so a full UK driving licence is not required.
