Senior Salesforce Developer Position
Location: Reading (Hybrid 1 - 2 times a week)
Salary: £65k-£90k

Our client is a Salesforce ISV with over 15 years of experience in the industry and a continued growth trajectory, they are seeking a full-time Senior Developer to join their technical team.
Your primary focus will be on implementing new features, including AI, for their AppExchange-listed packages. You might also be involved in backend services using Azure. Ideally, you should have at least 3 years of experience developing on the Salesforce platform and some background in .Net or Python development. This role offers a chance to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a small but effective team.
Hybrid Work Setup This position requires 2-3 days per week in the office, offering a mix of collaborative teamwork and remote flexibility.
What You'll Do:
- Write clean, test-driven, and scalable code
- Revise, update, refactor, and debug code
- Quickly learn new technologies
- Stay updated with the latest industry best practices
- Produce architecture artifacts to explain strategic changes to key stakeholders
- Participate in code reviews and pull request approvals
What You'll Need:
- 3+ years of Salesforce development experience (APEX & React)
- 5+ years of general software development experience within a team
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Familiarity with architecture patterns and APIs (REST, SOAP)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, source control, and software development teams
- The right to work full-time in the UK
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience with SQL (ideally SQL Server)
- Knowledge of Microservice Architecture and modeling techniques like Event Storming
- Familiarity with C# or Python
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS
