This position has come about due to growth in their team. As part of the wider finance team the Accounts Payable Supervisor will be responsible for the day to day leadership of the Accounts Payable team, including processing of invoices, the analysis of payables for suppliers and developing processes to improve the productivity of the team, as well as supporting the financial accountant with collation of KPI data.
The role involves...
- You will be responsible for Full-Cycle Accounts Payable processing including examining, verifying and reconciling a variety of transactions.
- Subject matter expert for Accounts Payable
- Ensuring your team reach processing targets
- Take the lead on AP system projects
- Own the aged creditors for the Accounts Payable team, distribute and manage
- Management of the Accounts Payable intercompany processing and reconciliations
- Dealing with high level internal and external suppliers enquiries
- Maintain weekly central billing invoicing cycle.
- Production of monthly KPI data
You will need to have at least 6 months experience in accounts payable supervision or leading a team, whether that is as an accounts assistant, in a purchase ledger or similar transactional finance role.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Accounts payable experience
- Be a great team player with a positive attitude
- Team leadership or staff supervisory experience
