Location: Hertfordshire - Hybrid

Contract duration: 1 year

Rate: £16 ph - We are booking interviews next week!

As a HR Administrator for a leading defence organisation, you'll play a crucial role in co-ordinating and organising interviews, liaising with managers and BSO's, and booking interviews on Onehr. You'll be responsible for sending confirmations to managers and candidates, monitoring Onehr for conditional and firm offers, and updating contract requirements. This dynamic position promises to be exciting and integral to our organisation's success.

The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a HR Administrator?

  • You'll manage communications from Occupational Health and Security, updating Onehr with status changes, and ensuring start dates are confirmed.
  • Chasing candidates for missing data, updating SAP with pension status, processing Hedd checks, and handling payroll spreadsheets for bonus payments are also key tasks.
  • You'll load data into Onehr, forward process changes to the Onboarding Team, generate clock numbers for CW staff, and update holiday status.
  • Additionally, you'll assist with the administration process for leavers, ensuring smooth transitions, and liaise with the Resourcing Administration team to improve processes and cost savings.
  • Supporting the HR Admin Team Leader, coordinating psychometric testing, organising your workload, and investigating queries are essential duties.
  • You'll participate in team meetings, handle ad-hoc tasks, and support the UK Early Careers Programmes.
  • This role also involves liaising with procurement and finance, supporting open days and exhibitions on some weekends, dealing with GDPR-compliant references, and processing queries via the resourcing inboxes.

  • Ability to prioritise workflow and meet deadlines.
  • Patient and courteous in handling HR queries.
  • Proficient in MS Office, OneHr, and SAP; recruitment systems experience is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
