We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Physics Teacher to join our dedicated science department, teaching students at Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role:

As a Physics Teacher at this school in Carterton, Oxfordshire, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging physics lessons that inspire students and develop their understanding of the subject. You will be expected to:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that align with the national curriculum.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Maintain an orderly and supportive classroom environment.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Physics, Education, or a related field. A postgraduate teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Certification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience teaching physics at the Key Stage 3 and 4 levels is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Technology: Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.
