A Records Officer is required for our client in Manchester on a 24 months fixed term contract to actively participate in migration from Livelink to SharePoint project. You will be working closely with the Records Manager and other key stakeholders during the implementation of the EDRMS project.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analysing a large volume of migration data ensuring the new records meet the current SharePoint requirements
  • Complete both pre and post migration data analysis and data validation activities to ensure sufficient metadata capture and consistency of approach
  • Offering advice and solutions on information and records management best practice
  • Support the coordination of workshops and meetings that involve the sharing of the EDRMS related strategy and policy developments
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders from across the organisation whilst communicating in a effective manner

Key skills and essential criteria:

  • Good working knowledge of SharePoint, EDRMS, Microsoft Excel & MS Teams
  • Pervious experience working as a Data Analyst, Records Officer or Records Manager
  • Knowledge and experience of archiving would be beneficial
  • Ability to conduct data analysis with large sets of data, data validation, data reporting and data filtering
  • Run workshops whilst capturing requirements with key business stakeholders translating them to functional specifications
  • Ability to prioritise, communicate effectively and work as part of a small team whilst delivering high quality work and working to agreed SLA's
