Are you the type of person who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in attention to detail? If so, my client has an exciting opportunity for you as an Assembly Finisher!
Your role will involve:
- Precision hand soldering of electronic components onto PCBs (printed circuit boards)
- Soldering cable into connectors with finesse
- Conducting testing on sub-assemblies and final products (don't worry, we'll provide training)
- Additional tasks such as picking works orders, stock taking, and handling goods in door
What we're looking for:
- Ability to follow written instructions and samples accurately, as we produce various assemblies
- Keen eye for detail to ensure correct components are fitted and tested accurately
- Dynamic individual who thrives in a varied role and can think on their feet
- Team player with a willingness to pitch in and assist whenever needed
- Previous experience in assembly work
Benefits:
- Competitive working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (30 minutes lunch - unpaid); Friday, 8:00 am to 2:30 pm
- Total of 40 hours per week
