The Audit RI Role:

  1. Audit RI - Compliance Focus (5-7 Years Post-RI Experience)
    This role is ideal for an experienced Audit RI, with deep expertise in audit compliance and quality reviews. You'll oversee more complex, high-risk audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and high-quality audit delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Compliance: Oversee audit teams, ensuring all engagements meet compliance and quality standards.
  • Client Management: Manage a diverse portfolio, leading audits for high-growth, international clients.
  • Strategic Development: Contribute to the firm's audit strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives.
  • Team Mentorship: Support the development of rising talent, driving a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
  • Business Development: Play an active role in expanding the firm's client base, leveraging existing networks and identifying new opportunities.

Candidate Audit Director Profile:
Ideal candidates will come from a traditional accountancy background but must understand the nuances of working in a private equity-backed environment. Experience managing diverse, large teams and a portfolio of clients valued in excess of £1M is essential.

Audit Director Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Post-RI experience (5-7 years).
  • Strong knowledge of audit software (CaseWare preferred) and financial reporting frameworks (IFRS, FRS102).
  • A proven ability to manage significant audit projects and diverse client portfolios.
  • ACA or ACCA qualification.
  • Ability to lead teams, deliver complex audits, and contribute to business development efforts.
