Our client, a well-established company based in Doncaster, is seeking a finance assistant to join their finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a company committed to delivering exceptional financial services. They are also changing their finance system from Xero to NetSuite.

Your new role

The Finance Assistant will be required to assist with all day to day financial administration along with the processing of Payroll.
The position will report directly to the Finance Manager (FM) and will work in conjunction with the Senior Managers and Directors as required.

  • Concentrate on financial administration
  • Daily input of purchase invoices into Xero
  • Supplier, and petty cash reconciliation
  • Weekly supplier payment run
  • Monthly journals
  • Credit control

What you'll need to succeed

Minimum of 1 year experience working in a busy Finance DepartmentAAT Level 3 desirable
Excellent attention to detail
Good Numerical skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Microsoft office experience
Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated and able to use own initiative
