The Stator Manufacturing Engineer will lead the build of prototype motors. focusing on test methods and assembly processes for Stator motors.

Description

  • Ability to work safely and in compliance with business practices.
  • Create Work Instructions for prototype builds
  • Read & interpret engineering documentation
  • Lead manufacturing effort
  • Actively participate in engineering design reviews and provide feedback to improve costing, design, and tooling
  • Assist in creating manufacturing schedule
  • Electromagnetic Design/ CAD Design
  • Electrical/mechanical inspection

Profile

A successful Stator Manufacturing Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor a team.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing systems and process improvement.
  • An understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Highly desirable experience

  • Stator winding & testing experience within aerospace or automotive applications. Testing of stator windings on individual manual test equipment.
  • Must be able to transfer knowledge of stator winding, train and mentor less experienced or new technicians or winding operatives.
