Responsibilities:
- Support sales growth targets by developing and growing new and existing accounts
- Acquire new business by building a healthy sales pipeline and prospecting over the phone
- Conduct market research and liaise with internal departments to identify new leads
- Proactively establish contact with prospective customers and nurture new relationships
- Identify customer needs and provide solutions by promoting the company's products and services
- Log all customer interactions on the CRM system and ensure it is regularly updated with sales activity
Skills and Experience:
- A skilled Business Development Manager who thrives in target-driven environments
- Demonstrates a genuine passion for sales and a proven track record of identifying potential opportunities and converting these into sales
- Has a history of meeting and exceeding agreed individual and team sales targets
- Commercially-minded, tenacious and performance driven, loves exceeding expectations and smashing targets
- Confident telephone manner with excellent communication skills
- Always willing to go the extra mile for the company and its customers
