Registered Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead our established 6-bed home for children and young people. This role is ideal for a compassionate individual with a strong background in leadership and a commitment to providing exceptional care to those in need.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for children and young people.
- Lead and manage the staff team to deliver high-quality care and support.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of the children and young people.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and requirements.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, staff, families, and external agencies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the service, making improvements as necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Must hold a Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within children's residential care.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent understanding of the needs of children and young people in care.
- Knowledge of current legislation and regulations related to children's homes.
- Ability to work flexibly and respond to the needs of the service.
