**Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Cheadle, supporting adults with acquired and traumatic brain injuries. The post-holder will play a key role in delivering neuropsychological assessment, formulation, and intervention, contributing to patient-centred rehabilitation plans and long-term recovery outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments of individuals with brain injuries.
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based formulations and interventions tailored to cognitive, behavioural, and emotional needs.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, nurses, and medical staff.
  • Provide consultation, guidance, and supervision to other professionals and support staff as appropriate.
  • Contribute to service development, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with professional and organisational standards.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision and continued professional development.

**Essential Criteria:

  • Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (HCPC registered).
  • Postdoctoral training or equivalent experience in Clinical Neuropsychology.
  • Chartered Psychologist status with the BPS (or working towards).
  • Experience working with individuals with acquired or traumatic brain injuries in a clinical or rehabilitation setting.
  • Excellent assessment, formulation, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

**Desirable Criteria:

  • Full Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology (QiCN).
  • Experience with complex neurological presentations and challenging behaviours.
  • Involvement in service development, teaching or research.
