We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join our client, a prestigious secondary academy, for a full-time position starting in September 2024. This is an excellent opportunity to teach Key Stage 3 & 4 students in a vibrant and supportive environment.
Job Role Requirements:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to Key Stage 3 & 4 students.
- Assess, monitor, and report on the progress of students.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and participate in school events.
- Maintain high standards of student behaviour in accordance with school policies.
Qualifications and Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Science or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 & 4.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
