Position: IT Field Engineer Location: Milton Keynes
Role Overview: As an IT Field Engineer, you'll troubleshoot hardware, perform installations, and ensure seamless IT operations.
Responsibilities:
- Handle hardware break-fix tasks and deployments, meeting SLAs.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose diverse hardware issues.
- Configure and install hardware, maintaining real-time updates.
- Install, test or terminate Network cables
- Collaborate within the team and escalate issues when needed.
- Maintain organized documentation of support activities.
- Contribute to an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
- Assist with MFD devices and adhere to change control.
- Support ad hoc tasks as required.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware (printers, laptops, servers, routers, switches).
- Experience with various technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience/Certified to work at heights
- Excellent communication at all levels.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, with a clean British driving licence.
Desirable Skills:
- Prior experience with SAN and Cisco routing/switching (CCNA).
- Familiarity with imaging tools (SCCM/Intune), Windows Server, Desktop.
- Minimum 3 years in similar IT Field Engineer role.

- Effective team player, methodical, punctual.
