Supply Chain Coordinator

  • Job Type: Temporary (9-12 months)
  • Location: Hybrid (Remote working available)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
  • Salary: Competitive hourly rate

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Supply Chain Coordinator to support our Branded Medical and Surgical Supply Chain teams. This role is integral in managing replenishment duties, bespoke customer ordering processes, and maintaining efficient stock levels. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong analytical skills and a good understanding of supply chain logistics.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Perform replenishment duties to ensure stock availability and maintain service levels of 99% or greater.
  • Monitor and follow up on late deliveries and out-of-stock situations.
  • Obtain weekly stock information from manufacturers and adjust purchase orders accordingly.
  • Review and maintain up-to-date customer messaging and lean inventory levels.
  • Manage bespoke customer ordering processes and support the supply chain team with various tasks.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve efficiencies within your managed product range.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and professional telephone manner.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook and intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V-lookups, basic formulas).
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • Experience in supply chain, FMCG, or pharmaceuticals is advantageous.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret numerical data.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Understanding of Good Distribution Practice of Medicinal Products for Human Use (training provided).
