Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant

Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage accounting and reporting activities, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of underlying data. The successful candidate will have the chance to liaise with both internal and external customers, formulating and implementing policy. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent knowledge of current statutory, legal and regulatory accounting requirements, and possesses strong interpersonal skills.

What you'll do:
As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing accounting and reporting activities. You will maintain a detailed awareness of the Finance business plan, contributing to its development in order to maximise productivity. Your participation in internal meetings will be key in sharing and developing strategy, knowledge and best practices. You will also manage the development of solutions to change requirements placed on the Finance function, ensuring successful delivery of objectives. Compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements is essential.
- Maintain detailed awareness of the Finance business plan to appropriately align service delivery
- Contribute to the development of team's business plan in order to maximise productivity and performance
- Participate in all internal meetings, as required, in order to share and develop strategy, knowledge and best practice
- Manage the development of solutions to change requirements placed on the Finance function to ensure the successful delivery of objectives
- Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements to ensure obligations are met
- Contribute and manage the refinement of process, procedures and systems to continuously improve the efficiency of accounting activities
