Genuine career-making opportunity for an ambitious Part CIMA/ACCA qualified Accountant who would enjoy a varied and influential role with direct route to Financial Controller in the short to medium term. Under the mentorship of a highly experienced and supportive Finance Director your initial remit would be broad and work nicely in conjunction with progressing through professional studies. Specifics will include:
- Assisting the FD to improve the monthly management accounting and reporting suit with ability to influence business decision making
- Taking on responsibility for cash management and working closely with other departments to ensure that costs are accurately monitored and managed
- Opportunity to take on staff management responsibility
To be considered for this role you should be actively studying towards CIMA/ACCA or AAT qualified and looking to embark on further study. You should have a logical career to date with some experience of monthly accounting. Knowledge of stock reporting and/or experience with an ERP system would be advantageous.
