Butler Rose Public Practice are pleased to announce this exciting opportunity which has arisen for an experienced Client Accountant / Client Manager to join a well-established SME accountancy practice in Waterlooville.
This is a superb opportunity to get become part of a growing team as they start to expand and increase their client list. Ideally you will be ACCA / ACA qualified but nearly qualified candidates will also be considered. Recent experience working for a UK accountancy practice is essential.

Requirements:
- ACCA / ACA qualified or part qualified
- Recent experience working in a UK accountancy firm, preparing year end accounts, VAT returns, and financial statements.
- At least 3+ years' experience working in a similar accountancy practice.
- Experience preparing statutory accounts for a variety of clients, preparing VAT returns and completing corporation tax.
- Experience managing a portfolio of varied clients, either within a team or independently.
- Proficient in the use of accounting software programmes such as IRIS, Xero, Sage
Duties:
- Prepare statutory and management accounts for a varied portfolio of clients using Iris.
- Preparing annual and quarterly VAT and CIS returns and corporation tax.
- Complete general bookkeeping for all clients.
- Review the bookkeeping, management accounts, annual accounts and tax returns to make sure they are as accurate as possible.
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts on behalf of clients
