Tech Lead (Java and Microservices)

London (2 days per week)

£80k-£95k + bonus, shares, 30 days hol, private medical.

An amazing opportunity to join a renowned company. They may already be a pretty big company, but they continue to grow and are looking to bring on 100 people within the next year. The business has announced a multi-billion (yep with a B) investment over the next 5 years into their data, people and security.

This Tech Lead position will involve the leadership and management of a small team of developers, as well as hands-on work with tech yourself (30% leadership / 70% hands-on).

What you'll need:

We are looking for experienced Developers with strong Java and microservice experience. Working in a public cloud environment, you will have experience with any public cloud for at least 3 years. The team are working in a highly agile environment, to drive productivity and results, as such, they are looking for candidates with agile experience but a strong agile first mindset.

  • Java Engineer (at least 7 years of engineering experience)
  • Public Cloud experience (3 years minimum)
  • Microservices/Jenkins/CICD/Terraform/Ansible/Helm/Kubernetes
  • Enjoy communicating and educating
  • Work with peers to show what is possible through technology innovation
