LTA / Reed Education are seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide support to a year 1 pupil on a EHCP plan, at an outstanding Primary School in the Carnforth area.
This new TA2 role is a Part-time position covering 3 days per week, Weds-Friday from 08:45-15:15.
This role is to start at the beginning on the new academic year in September, with the idea of this role becoming permanent.
The candidate must have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) and experience of working with children on the autism spectrum is desirable.
Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:
- Monitoring targets for future progress
- Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers
- Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils
- Monitoring pupils progress in reference to the school's practice
- Excellent behaviour management skills
