Key Responsibilities:

  • Medication Management: Support service users with their medication routines, ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Household Tasks: Aid with cleaning, laundry, and other domestic duties to maintain a comfortable living environment.
  • Social Activities: Encourage participation in social and recreational activities, fostering community and engagement.
  • Care Plans: Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each individual's needs and preferences.
  • Health Monitoring: Regularly check and report on the health and well-being of service users.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong, positive relationships with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Safe Environment: Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not essential.
  • Education: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Empathy: Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Organization: Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • IT Skills: Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication.
