Bright Side Recruitment Ltd is assisting in the recruitment of a Service and Parts Administrator for an established and highly recommended independent garage, based in the Sydenham area.
This rare and exciting opportunity would suit a person who is experienced with both Customer Service and detailed Administration duties gained from a Garage, Trades Desk, or similar environment. A relaxed, yet very professional environment awaits the successful applicant.
Hours of work are:
8am to 5pm - Monday to Friday
Oh....and very occasional Saturday mornings
Responsibilities
- Taking customer service and repair bookings over the phone and in person
- Checking in / out all vehicles
- Inputting data on to a bespoke CRM system
- Explaining and advising customers of any additional required works
- Raising invoices, creating estimates, and other associated paperwork
- Ordering parts and organising goods in
- Following up and providing progress reports to customers, throughout the day
- Welcoming and greeting visitors
- The occasional tea & coffee making
Experience Required
- Great communication and influencing skills
- Excellent telephone manner, with the ability to build a strong rapport with customers
- High levels of accuracy and an ability to multi-task
- A friendly, empathetic, and efficient attitude
- The ability to work well individually and with a team to achieve goals
- The ability to learn new computer systems quickly and effectively
- Previous experience gained from working in a similar environment is desirable, but not essential
- A full, clean UK driving licence would also be of benefit
