If so, this is the role for you! We are looking for someone to join our team in Barnsley at Countrywide as a Warehouse Supervisor.
What can you expect as a Warehouse Supervisor at Countywide?
- Picking and packing customer orders, daily workload allocation
- Keeping general warehouse cleaning and tidying up to 5s standards
- Support the development of the Despatch operation
- Work with Operations Managers to solve day to day operational issues
- Support Operations Manager on reaching short- and long-term performance goals
- Maintain a Warehouse asset register of tools and equipment
- Support the Operations Managers with investigations into stock discrepancies
- Support the induction of new Warehouse employees into the department
- Provide feedback to the Despatch operatives on their daily performance
- Motivate the warehouse team to achieve operational excellence with creative initiatives
- Participate in daily briefs to the Despatch team about performance and QHSE objectives
- Maintain a competency and training matrix
- Be a safety champion within the business, reporting safety observations
- Identify resource gaps during peak times and find solutions
- Ensure supplier returns are packaged for collection and handed over appropriately
- Ensure efficient cover is found for areas and shifts

In return for your expertise, you will get:
- Salary of £27,000
- 40-hour working week Monday to Friday alternating shift patterns per week 10:00-18:30 and 13:00 - 21:30
- 1 in 4 weekends required to work
- 28 days holiday plus birthdays off
