Description

As a Bookings Administrator your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing patient appointment schedules and records
  • Providing administrative support to the Secretarial & Business Support department
  • Ensuring patient confidentiality and data protection at all times
  • Communicating with patients, staff, and other departments as necessary
  • Maintaining an organised and efficient work environment
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations
  • Answering phone calls and dealing with enquiries in a polite and professional manner
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the improvement of services

Profile

A successful Bookings Administrator should have:

  • A strong background in administrative roles, preferably within a public sector and government environment
  • Familiarity with the medical terminologies and systems
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • A patient-focused approach and commitment to providing a high standard of service
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Job Offer

  • An hourly rate between £12 - £13 per hour
