Pay Rates: £21.80 per hour

Shift Patterns: Mon - Fri - 8:30 - 4:30

What you can add:

  • To carry out clinical assessment of children and young people's needs and to plan and implement complex respiratory physiotherapy treatments accordingly.
  • To use clinical reasoning, critical thinking, reflection, and analysis to support assessments and management.
  • To work closely with other members of the MDT within health, education, social services, and voluntary sector to ensure treatment meets the holistic needs of the child.
  • To communicate effectively complex information and liaise with patients, families/carers, physiotherapy colleagues, other healthcare professionals and outside agencies regarding patient management and progress.
  • To be a source of advice and support to children and their families about respiratory therapy and treatments.
  • To deliver respiratory physiotherapy training programmes including competency base training and assessment for a wide range of professionals (including nursing colleagues), parents, carers, and teachers to educate in the CYP physiotherapy management and treatment relating to the CYP medical and social needs.

What you'll need:

  • Physiotherapy degree
  • Registration with Health & Care Professions Council
  • Membership of CSP/ACPC
  • Significant previous experience as a qualified physiotherapist
  • Community respiratory physiotherapy experience with transferable skills to a paediatric caseload
  • Must be a car driver
