This established manufacturing business based in Weston-Super-Mare is currently looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join their finance team on a permanent full-time basis. This role will report directly to the Finance Manager and play a vital role in supporting the accounts receivable side of the business.
Duties for this role will include, but not be limited to:
- Maintaining the sales ledger, ensuring that it is up to date at all times
- Approving credit limits for new and existing customers
- Chasing any outstanding debt according to agreed payment terms
- Negotiating payment plans with customers as necessary
- Suggesting and implementing changes to current credit control processes
- Ad-hoc duties to support the rest of the finance team
You will have demonstrable credit control experience, be IT literate, particularly with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Sage accounts. You will also be able to work in a busy and customer focused environment, prioritising your workload effectively.
The working hours will be, 8.30am-5pm Monday – Thursday, 8.30am-4pm Friday. The company offers 22 days holidays + bank holidays. The role is offering £28,000 - £35,000 per annum dependant on experience.
