What this role is all about:

As a Technical Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving and orchestrating the delivery of technology demand through the governance lifecycle within Technology and Operations. This role will be a fixed-term contract primarily focused on delivering three main projects related to the Desktop Modernization programme plan for Vitality.

You will have experience in large enterprise-level IT or digital projects, strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies.

Key Actions

  • Project Delivery: Lead the analysis of three key projects within the Desktop Modernization programme, ensuring alignment with strategic roadmaps and delivery plans. Projects will vary in scope and scale, from PMO-led initiatives to IT roadmap and strategic projects.
  • Analysis and Documentation: Produce analysis artefacts using a range of techniques and methods to elicit requirements, verify, and trace delivery through the project lifecycle. Develop business cases, high-level objectives, and functional/non-functional requirements to support architectural design and technical delivery.
  • Technical Requirement Gathering: Conduct thorough technical requirement gathering for technology-based projects. Engage with stakeholders to understand and document technical needs, ensuring all requirements are captured accurately and comprehensively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Technical Delivery Managers, Architects, and SMEs to ensure the smooth delivery of IT projects. Collaborate with Business SMEs to analyse, define, and shape IT requirements that support these projects.
  • Process Improvement: Improve and standardize internal processes, ensuring they are clearly documented for optimal performance. Continuously develop skills by working with colleagues and Subject Matter Experts and undertaking necessary training.

Essential Skills needed to fulfil this role:

  • Proven experience in a Technical Analyst role.
  • Strong understanding of project management and delivery within a technology environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to produce high-quality documentation and analysis artefacts.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
