THE OPPORTUNITY:

Get-Recruited is partnered with a highly reputable and growing construction business who are actively seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their expanding team as a result of continued growth.

Your main area of focus will be to manage a large, aged debt portfolio of clients with particular emphasis on maintaining those relationships through tactful communication and negotiation when collecting payments. You will be working in a close-knit team of 4 and report directly into the Credit Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity! For someone with a minimum of 2 years' experience in Credit Control within a B2B or B2C environment.

DUTIES:

  • Liaising with customers via telephone and email to chase overdue debt
  • Managing a large, aged debt ledger including customers ranging from sole traders to national contractors
  • Taking, allocating and reconciling payments working alongside the parent companies finance department.
  • Support adhoc Credit Office projects
  • Maintain and develop excellent relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

THE PERSON:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Credit controller, Sales Ledger or Accounts Receivable role
  • Experience of dealing with high value ledgers
  • Experience of working within a B2B environment would be beneficial but not essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
