Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (44 hours per week)

The nursery is an established nursery which has recently been taken over by new management and is currently going through an exciting period of change and transition. They are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. Our team is passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a love of learning in every child. The nursery is open all year round between the hours of 7:30am and 6pm.

Job Description:
Your new role will be as a Deputy Manager who will be responsible for providing care for the children and working closely with the rest of the team. You will be responsible for assisting the manger to ensure that the nursery is following current policies and legislation from the EYFS framework. The wellbeing and happiness of our children and staff are our number one priority and the role will require you to support other members of staff with this. Key Responsibilities:
This nursery is looking for a Deputy Nursery Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will have excellent team working skills, to work with the wider team to support the children in their care. They will need to be able to be creative and nurturing when supporting children. You will need to have excellent knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted requirements. You will need to have recent experience working within an Early Years Setting or with children.
All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.

Requirements:

  • Qualified with a recognised Level 3 within Early Years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Hold a current and valid First Aid certificate
