Mortgage Underwriter – Kings Hill (hybrid working)

We have a superb new opportunity for a resilient, adaptable and attentive underwriting professional to support this well-established and successful Financial Brokerage. You will have responsibility for underwriting mortgage applications, ensuring that applications are assessed to strict criteria, whilst maintaining compliance within an acceptable risk appetite to the firm.
You will be managing key relationships, collaborating with clients and various departments to ensure efficient processing of applications.
About you:
It is essential that you have held an underwriting mandate with at least a year or more experience in the BTL market, however residential or commercial markets will also be considered. You will also ideally have knowledge and experience of Specialist lending, including Limited companies, Portfolio Landlord, Ex-Pats Holiday Lets, HMO's and Multi-Unit Properties.
You will have a full understanding of the mortgage process along with strong market knowledge. You will have excellent Microsoft office experience, be an adept communicator, collaborative and efficient at working to sometimes pressured deadlines.
