The Role
We are delighted to be working with a fantastic organisation in Carlisle who are looking to hire a Financial Reporting Officer to join their busy Finance function. This is a permanent opportunity for a driven individual, within a growing organisation with excellent benefits attached.
Duties will include:
- Supporting with the provision of financial information and reporting to various departments.
- Assisting with budget preparation and the input of budgetary information within accounting system
- Assisting with monthly and quarterly Management Accounts preparation
- Providing financial reports to business partners when required
- Assistant with the preparation of Financial Statements
- Preparing VAT returns
About You
We encourage your application to this role should you meet the following requirements:
- AAT (or equivalent) Qualified or currently studying
- Experience of delivering/providing reports or financial information relating to budgets or financial statements
- Experience assisting with management accounts preparation
- Accounting software skills
- Excel skills - competent (V-Lookups/Pivot Tables)
Other Details
- Annual Salary - £28,000-£32,000
- Annual Holidays - 25 days plus bank holidays (starting)
- Hours of Work - Mon-Fri - 36.5 hours
