Do you have product test engineering experience, and are you seeking a new job in Gaydon? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Product Test Engineer, and the role comes with a umbrella contract rate of £25.97 per hour (Inside IR35).

As a Product Test Engineer, you will conduct physical destructive testing on components, systems and vehicles to meet Passive Safety targets.

In your first few weeks in this Product Test Engineer role, you can expect to:

  • Translate regulation and requirement test protocols and use a variety of modern test equipment, instrumentation and data acquisition systems
  • Manage the test through to completion and produce a test report on time

To apply for this Product Test Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

  • Experience in physical testing in a laboratory
  • Knowledge of passive safety regulations and requirements, incl FMVSS and ECE
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a related field, such as Engineering, Motorsport, Aerospace, Physics
