Management Accountant
- Contract Type: 12-month FTC (Maternity Cover)

- Salary: £190-£210 per day
- Start Date: Must be available to start before September to complete handover.
We are seeking a Management Accountant for a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The ideal candidate will have experience with CIS returns and a background in the construction industry. This role is crucial for maintaining our financial health and requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage accounting functions efficiently.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring records are accurate and that taxes are paid properly and on time.
- Perform overviews of the financial operations of the business to help improve efficiency.
- Analyse financial data and create reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties, such as vendors or lenders.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings, including CIS returns.
- Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures.
- Forecast and plan for future financial decisions and strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of CIS returns and experience in handling them.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and practices.
- Proficient in MS Office and finance software.
- An analytical mind with attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Professional qualification such as CIMA or ACCA is desirable.
