Our client is a reputable construction company that covers commercial and residential projects. They are committed to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. As they expand their team, they are seeking an experienced and detail-orientated Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
Your new role
- Prepare accurate bills of quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates for construction projects.
- Monitor project progress by measuring and evaluating installed quantities against the plan.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure cost control and adherence to budgets.
- Review and verify total installed quantities.
- Assist with reviewing quantities and pricing for proposed change requests.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Proven experience in quantity surveying or a similar role in the construction industry
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
