Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a successful manufacturing business in South Yorkshire to recruit a Production Manager to join their team.
Our client is looking for an energetic and driven Production Manager with excellent communication, analytical, planning, and organisational skills.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Production Manager will be responsible for a team of Skilled Production Operatives within a busy highly technical manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities of the Production Manager role will include:
- Performance Management including implementing and driving KPIs and visual management
- Identify any training or development needs within the team and action appropriately
- Manage operational budgets for the department and deliver continuous improvement (including CapEx) projects
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders within the business to maximise operational output and monitor quality and health & safety standards
We would be keen to speak with experienced Production Managers with the following skills and experience:
- Experienced in leading and managing teams an industrial production manufacturing environments
- Financial and commercially aware with budget control experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Data driven and analytical with an improvement orientated mindset
- Degree qualified
- Proven examples of implementing process improvements and leading on CAPEX projects
