Job Title: Children's Residential Care Worker - Level 3 Qualified
Job Description
Job Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to children in residential care settings
- Implement care plans and support the physical, emotional, and social needs of each child
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children under your care
- Work collaboratively with other staff members and agencies to meet the needs of children
- Participate in activities and outings with children to promote their well-being
Required Qualifications:
- Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification
- Valid DBS clearance
- Experience working with children in a residential care setting
Education:
- Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent
Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' experience working with children in the following care settings

- Harmful sexual behaviour (HSB) homes
-
Gang and radicalisation and intervention Program (GRIP) Homes

Child Exploitation (CSE) Homes

Complex Needs Homes
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of child development and safeguarding procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid certification
- Training in behaviour management techniques
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, as per the needs of the residential care facility
- Salary range: £12.50 - £13.50 per hour
