Robertson Bell is partnering with a prominent commercial real estate company to recruit for a Finance Analyst on a permanent basis. This role will be instrumental in providing key financial insights and supporting a major growth-focused directorate.

The key responsibilities of this Finance Analyst role include:

  • Acting as the lead finance partner for the development and growth teams, delivering financial modelling and decision-making support.
  • Providing financial insights to drive key strategic projects and initiatives within the directorate.
  • Leading the budget-setting process, offering expert advice, and ensuring proposals are rigorously evaluated for financial viability.
  • Preparing and evaluating development proposals to align with strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Conducting value-for-money assessments, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and optimising resource efficiency.
  • Collaborating with senior management to deliver accurate financial reports that support critical decision-making.

This role offers an exceptionally flexible hybrid working arrangement, requiring just two days a month in the Essex office following an initial training period. It is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate closely with senior leaders, shape critical financial decisions, and ensure value for money, all while working towards your accountancy qualification and gaining valuable experience in financial planning and analysis.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be actively studying towards, or hold their accountancy qualification, e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent.
  • Have a naturally analytical approach to finance and comprehend what is required to conduct an investment appraisal.
  • Be an effective communicator and be able to effectively liaise with non-financial stakeholders of varying levels of seniority.
  • Have advanced Excel skills and be eager to learn and develop your financial modelling skills.
