Overview:

Our client, a specialist law firm in Regulatory Investigations and Issues, is currently seeking a Solicitor to join their team in Cardiff. They advise a diverse range of clients, including listed companies, small and medium-sized enterprises, and public and private bodies, on various regulatory matters.

The role:

As a Solicitor in the Regulatory Department, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of regulatory and criminal law cases.

The department handles prosecution matters for the Government, local authorities, and other regulatory bodies.

Additionally, you will provide advice to businesses of all sizes, ensuring they meet their regulatory responsibilities. You may also work on professional regulation matters, as well as contentious and non-contentious licencing issues.

Experience:

To be successful in this role, you should have 3 to 10 years of PQE and possess strong court advocacy skills.

Specialist knowledge in areas such as conducting prosecutions, providing criminal law training, offering regulatory advice, handling professional misconduct cases, advising tribunals, and dealing with contentious alcohol licencing work is highly desirable.
