**Job Title: Senior IT Engineer (Networking - HP Aruba/Cisco)

Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £34-40,000 p/a + excellent benefits (27 days holiday exc BH, excellent pension scheme + more)
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Engineer with a strong emphasis on networking to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in HP Aruba and Cisco technologies, bringing a wealth of experience in general IT/Infrastructure support as well as managing network infrastructures. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex network solutions, focusing on HP Aruba and Cisco technologies.
- Maintain and troubleshoot network hardware and software, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Lead network infrastructure projects, from planning and design to deployment and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network integration with other IT systems and applications.
- Monitor and analyse network performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and industry best practices to ensure our infrastructure remains cutting-edge.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in a Senior IT Engineering role with a focus on networking.
- Expertise in HP Aruba and Cisco networking technologies, including switches, routers, wireless controllers, and firewalls.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Server, Active Directory & Office 365
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical mindset.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
