Facilities Assistant
- Hourly Salary: £12 - £15 (dependent on experience)
- Location: Tamworth area
- Job Type: Full-time, Temporary
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm
- Duration: Summer period (to cover holiday absences)
We are in search of a proactive and hands-on Facilities Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis throughout the summer. This role is vital for maintaining the smooth operation of a school in the Tamworth area, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assemble, install, and move furniture and equipment on site.
- Perform general maintenance tasks and basic repairs as needed.
- Manage waste removal and recycling, ensuring the school premises are kept clean and tidy.
- Carry out various ad hoc duties to support the school's operations.
- Work closely with the facilities team to respond to any urgent maintenance issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Practical skills and the ability to handle a variety of manual tasks.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to handle various tasks as they arise.
