SAW OPERATOR
ROTATIONAL SHIFTS:
WEEK 1: 06:00 to 14:00 (MON - FRI)
WEEK 2: 14:00 to 00:00 (MON - WED) & 14:00 to 23:30 (Thursday)
£24,901.50 PER ANNUM
People Solutions are looking for a Saw Operator for our client based in Bristol.

Day to Day Duties
- Operating a saw safely and efficiently
- Adherence to health and safety at all times
- Checks to cut plan and any additional drawings to agree with advised sizes on sale order
- Program saw for cutting operation
- Marks each part with hard stamp , grain flow USD ,lot number
- Performs daily maintenance checks to metal saw
- Ensures all cut material is on a fit for purpose pallet for safe packaging
- Perform daily safety checks to fork trucks and jib cranes and vac-lifts
- Manual lifting up to 20 Kgs
- Ensure productivity sheets are completed each day
- Other duties as designed
Essential Skills
- Basic mathematical skills including add, subtract, divide , common fractions and decimals
- Experience operating machinery and metal processing
- Attention to detail
- Must be physically fit as this is a physical role which involves manual handling
- Experience working in a similar role
- Experience of Health and Safety
