As a Stock Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels, and supporting the overall supply chain process. You will be responsible for monitoring stock movements, conducting regular audits, and maintaining accurate records
What we're looking for:
- Organised
- Methodical
- Good with Excel
- Hands on – going down to warehouse/production to speak to production supervisors
- Link between production and accounting
The finer elements of the role include:
- Produce stock from process sheets, varying levels of work-in-progress through to finished goods
- Prepare daily loading list for goods being dispatched to customers
- Record and monitor raw material purchase prices
- Create purchase order requests from various staff members
- Update and maintain supplier catalogue prices
- Enter goods receipts into system
- Manage monthly physical stock take and reconcile volumes with the system investigating variances
- Enter/update bill of materials in the system
- Ability to communicate with non-financial staff members to rectify issues/queries
