Hays Accountancy & Finance are supporting a business in the NR7 area of Norwich who are looking for a part-time bookkeeper / finance clerk to work in a temporary role for at least 4 weeks+
Your new role
In this part-time bookkeeper job you will work 2-3 days a week and, these days, could be flexible to cover the following:
- Maintain the sales ledger (raise and issue invoices, record payments, etc)
- Maintain the purchase ledger (assign costs to nominal codes as per chart of accounts, update our trial balance, produce balance sheet, etc)
- Handle VAT and submit VAT returns
- Reconcile the accounts with our bank statements
What you'll need to succeed
This temporary finance role would ideally suit a Bookkeeper / Finance Clerk who has experience of trial balance, ledger processing and bank reconciliations and able to work at least 2 or 3 days a week for 4 weeks+
What you'll get in return
As this is a temporary finance job you will be paid an hourly rate of up to £15.00 per hour including your holiday pay, depending on your experience.
