A Southwest London law firm (SW19) have an opening for an experienced receptionist to cover reception and provide admin support on a full time, temporary basis from 20 December 2024 to 24 January 2025. If the assignment goes well, potentially there is an opening for this role to revert to a permanent part-time role depending on the candidates preference. This is a niche firm dealing with property and private client work.
Role involves:
- Greeting and welcoming clients
- Answering, screening, and forwarding all incoming calls and accurately relaying messages
- Sort outgoing and incoming post and deliveries
- Ensuring the reception area, meeting room and general office is clean, tidy and presentable
- Preparing and making drinks for meetings
- Ensure supplies are stocked in the office
- Ensure office equipment such as photocopiers are functional and working
- Keep an up-to-date stationary stock list and ordering of stationary when required
- Manage meeting room bookings
- General admin as required
Required skills:
- Prior experience working as a receptionist in a customer facing role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good IT and general admin skills
