2nd Line IT support Engineer - Chippenham (onsite)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join an award-winning company in Chippenham. This role is ideal for an experienced IT support professional ready to take the next step in their career.

2nd Line IT support Engineer Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing support to the 1st Line Team to help upskill and improve knowledge
  • To support and maintain Microsoft Server/ Desktops and Azure Cloud environments
  • Resolve customer issues within the agreed SLAs
  • Escalate issues to the 3rd Line Support Team where necessary
  • Undertake IT project work as instructed by the Projects Team
  • Comply with all relevant legislative and legal requirements, including industry regulations

2nd Line IT support Engineer Skills

  • Active Directory Administration (passwords, users, groups, permissions)
  • Azure Active Directory Administration (Modern Workplace Administration)
  • Office 365 Administration including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive etc
  • Exceptional customer service skills and telephone manner
  • Experience working on a service desk
  • Working with 3rd party software/solution providers
  • Desktop & Server experience
  • Familiarity with laptop and desktop builds
