Alderley Park Recruitment are currently recruiting a Paraplanner for our reputable Wealth Management Client based in Market Harborough. This is a permanent role, based on site and can pay a salary up to £40,000 DOE.

THE ROLE

Our client are a dynamic wealth management firm that provides comprehensive financial advice to both individuals and businesses. We're looking for a paraplanner to become part of their dynamic, friendly team. The role will involve supporting the Business Owner and 2-3 other Wealth Managers.

The ideal candidate will be used to working in a fast-paced environment and will provide full technical support to the team in terms of meeting preparation and Suitability Letter report writing - essentially documenting the advice we give our clients. Our client fully supports opportunities for progression and development in this role.

Daily responsibilities will be varied, but will include:

  • Preparing recommendations for clients alongside advisers and writing suitability reports
  • Experience with pension transfers, drawdown, inheritance tax planning
  • Answering client enquiries via telephone and email, resolving these in a professional and timely manner
  • Preparing cash flow reports using Voyant
  • Conducting detailed analysis of investments, assessing performance and cost using FE Analytics
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies in all financial plans and recommendations.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED

  • At least 1 year experience working as a paraplanner or within a financial advisory firm
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Suite - Outlook, Office, Word and Excel
  • Confident communicating with clients and 3rd party providers
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and time management skills
  • Comfortable dealing with clients both written and verbally.
  • Strong level of technical knowledge around pensions and investments
