Position: Secondary Learning Support Assistant

Location: Lambeth, South East London

Job Type: Full-Time, 8:30am - 4pm, Temp to Perm

Pay: £85 to £95 per day

The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting secondary pupils in their academic and personal development. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the class teacher will full classrooms
  • 1-1 and small group support to students with SEN
  • Providing tailored support to meet the individual needs of the pupil.
  • Assisting with academic activities and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to student development.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant experience in education or childcare.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.
  • Previous SEN experience would be desirable.
