Management Accountant | £50,000 - £60,000 | Cheshire – Wilmslow Area
Resourcery Group are working with a fantastic business in Cheshire in order to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to act as No2 to an experienced Finance Director, overseeing the existing function and adding further support in order to achieve their ongoing growth plans.
After a hugely impressive FY 23/24, this role has been created because of further forecasted growth in 24/25 and will offer the right candidate the opportunity to grow into a leadership role akin to Finance Manager/Controller level position.
Main duties will consist of;
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of board packs, to be presented to the CEO & MD
- Weekly cash flow forecasting
- Regular strategic review meetings with department heads to understand variances and any potential business risk
- Mentorship of two junior members of staff – take an active part in development and training
- Ownership of company balance sheet
- Management of P&L, actively understand what drives business performance and proactively improve areas of underperformance
- Assist with year end audit and statutory accounts production
Candidate profile;
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified preferred
- Substantial experience of management account production
- Excellent excel skills
- Commercial acumen, ability to bring numbers to life and regularly interact with non finance stakeholders
